I am hiring for a trusted provider of state-of-the-art manufacturing automation machinery and control systems that is looking for a skilled individual to join the multi-national business.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing for customers' automation needs of special-purpose machinery. You will work on innovative projects across various industries., and on sites across the UK, EU, and occasionally in the USA, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new and existing components/products.
• Conceptualizing and detailing automation solutions.
• Site layout design and project management.
• Ownership of customer projects from conception to customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

• Solid industrial automation machinery experience.
• 3 + years’ relevant experience.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years CAD Draughtsman experience).
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and other Autodesk Programs.
• A small digital portfolio, ahead of invitation to interview (treated in strictest confidence).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Presentable, articulate, and eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.
